EAST COURSE CADET MEMBERS
The Rayleigh Club offers junior members the chance to obtain a one year membership for the club’s east course for just £25 under 12s and £50 over 12s. This membership allows them to use the East Course without any additional cost per round. Cadet members are invited to gain their handicap and participate in the weekly competitions that are arranged by our Academy while improving their technique and understanding of the game.
SNAG golf is a leading method of golf tuition for kids and beginners endorsed by the European PGA. SNAG stands for “starting new at golf”. By taking the game back to its absolute basics and using simple, fun teaching tools and techniques, SNAG helps youngsters to understand the game and familiarise themselves with its fundamentals. SNAG is also endorsed by Jack Nicklaus as one of the very best ways to get youngsters playing and enjoying the game of golf.
The Rayleigh Club’s 9 hole Academy Course will be set up as a soft ball SNAG course during weekends and school holidays. SNAG is golf’s equivalent to mini soccer, tag rugby or quick cricket. This amazing development system and its equipment allows the whole family to enjoy a fun, safe and inexpensive round of golf. The equipment is provided for you and it is sure to make the most difficult sport in the world a whole lot easier.
SOUTH COURSE CADET MEMBERS
Weekdays: Monday – Friday
Cadets may play the course at any time
Weekend: Saturday & Sunday
Cadets may play after midday only. Some club competitions will allow the play before this time but the cadet must check prior to entry.
Cadet membership for the South Course is only available to players with a handicap of 20 or lower.
East Course cadet members cannot play on the South Course unless they are accompanied by a parent, who is also a member of the South Course. This is restricted to six times per year without green fee. Subsequent rounds will be charged at the member’s guest rate.
